Steven Jackson
Steven Jackson is a drummer and percussionist who has been playing drums since the age of nine. At age 16, he received a National Association of Jazz Educators award for a drum solo at the Stage Band competition held at the School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
The list of people Steven has played with includes both international and local talent, such as Michael Franti (and Spearhead), Steve Manshel (Firefall), Bob Webb (James Gang), blues great Bob Margolin, Jim Salestrom (Dolly Parton Band, Wild Jimbos and others) and the Rock Bottom Remainders (a band of authors - Stephen King, Ridley Scott, Dave Berry, Mitch Album, James McBride and others). Locally, he’s played with John Magnie (Subdudes and 3 Twins Broadband), Dave Beegle (4th Estate), and many other great artists.
Steven has a unique style all his own.
